That is why IF YOU CARE has launched these firelighters on the market. The firelighters are made 100% from FSC-certified wood. Unlike traditional firelighters, no kerosene, paraffin or other petroleum products are used, but 100% vegetable oil is used. Because the cubes are made from vegetable products, the emissions are considered CO2 neutral. That makes barbecuing a lot greener. Don't forget to put some vegetables on the barbecue to limit the amount of meat?
The firelighters are suitable for fireplaces, barbecues, wood stoves and campfires. The cubes are extremely stable, have a long shelf life and do not dry out when the package is open. The firelighters are also not greasy, have no unpleasant odors and are not explosive or toxic. You can simply store them in the pantry among your food, no unpleasant odors are transferred.

HOW TO USE
If You Care firelighters are quick and easy to use, just follow these simple steps:
Open the bag or package.
Place 3-4 If You Care Firelighters under wood or on charcoal.
Light each Firelighter on the broken side of the block. The block burns for 8-10 minutes, with the first 5 minutes producing the strongest flame.

      Some firelighters contain kerosene and/or paraffin or paraffin wax, all derived from petroleum and therefore based on fossil fuels. Burning some fire starters can release formaldehyde, a substance classified as a human carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and a suspected human carcinogen by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If You Care 100% Biomass Firelighters are 100% renewable and non-toxic.

      Carbon neutral emissions

      Because If You Care firelighters are made from 100% biomass - wood and vegetable oil - the emissions resulting from their combustion are considered carbon neutral. This is because the CO2 released when burning biomass is offset by the reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere as a result of new biomass growth. This is in accordance with EPA and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) guidance. The same cannot be said for firelighters that use petroleum products, such as kerosene, paraffin or weak wax.
