The Goldi bottle teats are made of 100% natural rubber. So nothing synthetic has been added. The high quality of this rubber gives the child a true feeling of pure natural and soothing well-being. Natural rubber is also the perfect basis for hygiene. The teat is made from one smooth-running piece so that it offers no opportunities for bacteria and other germs that would otherwise get stuck in between. So the Goldi shape is really perfectly developed for babies. Finally, natural rubber is a lot safer than silicone for teething babies. They easily bite off pieces of the silicone teat and can swallow it. That is very dangerous! You avoid this with natural rubber.

The bottle teats have an anti-slip layer due to very small irregularities at the bottom so that they do not slide off the bottle. Do not put the drinking teat too tightly on the bottle. If you see small bubbles while your baby is drinking, then the teat is in the right place. If you spill milk, it will obviously not sit well.

Maintenance
You can easily clean the Goldi bottle teat by dipping it briefly in hot water with a wooden spoon. Do not let this boil for more than 2 minutes. The hot water disinfects the teat. Then let the teat dry on a clean, disinfected cloth, away from sunlight and heat. The teats are made of natural rubber and can therefore not be put in an evaporator, microwave or dishwasher. Replace the drinking teat every 1-2 months. Does he get a bit tacky? Then replace it immediately.

Natural rubber is made from a milky latex sap from the Hevea Brasilensis, the rubber tree. The hevea tree has a valuable traditional life cycle. After planting, it takes 7 years before the hevea tree is 'ripe' for rubber production. The tree can then supply sap for 30-40 years and simultaneously absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. If the trees have to be cut down, they are made into furniture under good working conditions. Natural rubber is biodegradable, this lasts 5 years. A plastic bag, on the other hand, takes 500-1000 years!
