This natural cling paper has a wafer-thin carnauba wax coating, so that even moist foods such as smoked fish, cooked ham, goat cheese, etc. can be packed in all-natural material and stored well.
Conventional waxed papers, such as fresh-keeping papers in butcher shops, fishmongers or cheese shops, usually have a wax coating of paraffin. However, paraffin wax is a petroleum product and petroleum products contradict our sustainability approach. That is why this paper consists exclusively of renewable raw materials. So it is completely compostable.
Carnauba wax is a pure food wax and completely harmless to health.
