Our bamboo straws are handmade in Indonesia from local bamboo. They are made from a single bamboo stem, so each straw varies slightly in color and size. All straws have a diameter of 6 to 10 mm. The straws are available in 3 different lengths. Bamboo straws are the most eco-friendly option for straws. The natural, sustainable straws also give every drink a tropical touch. Bamboo
Each bamboo straw is made from a natural bamboo stem harvested by local farmers on their land. The bamboo does not come from agricultural lands but is a non-woody forest product that is harvested by pruning invasive bamboo plants on farmers' land. This provides additional income for farmers who previously burned this invasive bamboo.
The bamboo is then sanded so that it is smooth and splinter-free. Finally, the bamboo is boiled and washed. Bamboo grows so quickly that it only takes a few hours for a new straw to be produced.
Thanks to its strength, the bamboo is dishwasher safe and still biodegradable, making it the perfect component for reusable straws.

Pineapple hairs
The bristles of the straw brush are made of pineapple leaves, making the straw brush resistant and long lasting. An excellent example of upcycling, as these leaves are usually thrown away after the pineapple has been used as food.

Stainless steel 304
The flexibility of the 304 stainless steel wire allows the brush to be easily bent into any shape to clean hard-to-reach areas. It is very durable and long lasting. It is also a recycling champion. One of the most recycled materials in the world, ahead of paper and glass. 60% of new stainless steel production comes from recycled material.
