Blanc de Meudon is used to clean and shine surfaces such as stainless steel, copper, brass, silver, earthenware, marble, plastic, polishing stainless steel, coper, pewter and silver: make a paste with water and Blanc de Meudon and then rub out.
It is also lime with which they used to temporarily whiten windows,

Blanc de Meudon comes from the chalk quarries in the Paris water basin. This fine white powder mainly contains calcium carbonate, but it is also slightly alkaline, very gently abrasive and traditionally used for painting and household tasks.
Can also be used to make a white paint and is popularly known as whitewash you can decorate the windows of the house with it together with the children. (Ideal for Christmas decorations). Or you can temporarily whiten your shop window when you're renovating
The decoration can be removed later with a simple cloth and water. The whitening can be used as pigments and coatings. It is non-toxic and completely harmless to nature. Available in 500g karton cardboard tubes

Blanc de Meudon is also sometimes called 'Spanish white', 'white of Toulouse', 'white of Champagne (Troyes)' or more traditionally marl. The Meudon quarry is no longer mined, but has become a protected landscape. Blanc de Meudon can be used pure, treated and/or mixed with other materials.
Precautions: keep out of reach of children, possibly toxic in case of large ingestion. Keep dry.
