Bioplastic shopping bags 27 x 18 x 50 cm based on corn starch. They have the same characteristics as the ugly blow-away bags but are twice as large and have a capacity of 24 liters with a load capacity of 4 kg. Even pointed objects can penetrate the bag without the bags tearing.

The bags are based on European maize starch, of which the maize comes from guaranteed GMO-free cultivation. Mater Bi is processed into bags in Germany under high quality standards. The Compostella bags are waterproof for a while, so they are very suitable for the separate collection of biological kitchen waste before they are thrown, together with their contents, in the green or brown bin and even in the garden compost. The decomposition time of the bags is approximately 10-14 days in the industrial composting installation (green or brown bin). In garden compost it takes longer, depending on the weather and the season, but here too the bags disappear in good conditions on average within about 3 months.
