Bambaw's coconut shells are made by artisans in Bali, Indonesia. Because the coconut shells are natural products, no two are the same. The coconut shells all have a unique shape, size and color, although they each have a diameter between 12 and 15 cm and are 5 to 6 cm high. The underside is flattened so that they remain stable, then they are polished with coconut oil to make them dishwasher safe.

Coconut husk
The coconut shell is made from natural coconut husk. The peels are hand picked by our local farmers and then shaped and sculpted. To make them shiny and splinter-free, they are polished inside and out. Each bowl is made by hand, creating a unique coconut bowl every time.

Coconut oil
Coconut oil is applied to the coconut shells to ensure waterproofness and durability.
