This wonderful shampoo soap has been specially developed for hair that tends to get greasy quickly. Coconut oil has a cleansing, antibacterial and neutralizing effect on the scalp. The coconut oil provides the scalp with essential oils, which stops the pores from producing excessive oil.
In addition, Fair Squared hair soaps are alcohol-free. People with oily skin who use alcohol-based care products will notice that their skin becomes even oilier because the alcohol stimulates oil production in the pores. And that is exactly what you wanted to counteract!
All Fair Squared shampoo blocks are made from organic beer. The hops present have a hair-caring effect, while the oils have a skin-softening and moisturizing effect.
For very chalky water, we recommend rinsing the hair with an acid rinse. This can easily be made yourself from 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice to a liter of water. This way you optimize the effect of the soap and solve scalp problems.
  • Free from preservatives and alcohol
  • Zero waste
  • Vegan
  • Fair trade

Fair Squared soaps also have a nice story behind the maker of the soaps.
The face behind Fair Squared's soap bars
We are often asked who is the man on the packaging. This is Mohammed, also known as Aleppo man. He is the face behind our regular soaps and has been part of the FAIR SQUARED team since early 2019. But how did this really happen and what is the story behind it?
From Aleppo to Cologne
Mohamad is native Syrian. He lived for many years in Aleppo, the capital of the laurel soap of the same name. Due to the outbreak of the civil war, Mohamad decided to leave Syria. After a stay of a year and a half in Lebanon, he came to Cologne with his wife and six children in 2015.

Searched and found: Aleppo soap made in Cologne
Mohamad had his own company in Aleppo where he produced and distributed soap and detergents. When we as HONEST SQUARED were looking for someone who would build up our soap production at the end of 2018, Mohamad decided to apply for this position. His application convinced us immediately. Since then, Mohamad has been the person behind the production of FAIR SQUARED soap and the best part about it is the fact that he can do exactly what he did in his home country of Syria.

Trans Fair e. V. and Fairtrade International

The TransFair eV association was founded in 1992 with one goal, namely to support disadvantaged producers in developing countries. As an independent organization, TransFair eV does not trade products itself, but grants the fair trade quality mark to fairly traded products and stimulates awareness of sustainability. In Germany, 42,000 stores already sell products with a fair trade quality mark. More than 20,000 catering establishments sell fair trade coffee and cocoa. More information can be found at www.fairtrade-deutschland.de.
TransFair belongs to the international association Fairtrade International, which is involved in the implementation and care of the partner organizations. More than 1.3 million farmers and employees worldwide benefit from fair trade plantations. Together with their families, many millions of people have better living and working conditions through fair trade products.

The independent certification organization FLO-CERT GmbH is responsible for monitoring fair trade standards. This company based in Bonn works with an independent, transparent and globally consistent certification system according to the requirements of accreditation standard ISO 65 (DIN EN 45011).
