What makes Ajaa! products different from other plastic alternatives?
Ajaa's products are 100% free from harmful substances such as BPA (plasticizer), melamine or formaldehyde. Unlike other products made of plastic alternatives, such as bamboo, Ajaa! products do not require melamine resin or polyactate to achieve the desired stability and stable shape. When melamine and formaldehyde come into contact with temperatures above 70 degrees Celsius, they form dangerous amounts of vapors that can cause health complications.

Ajaa products are made from renewable raw materials. This means that the sugar cane grows within a year as a raw material for our high-quality biopolymer! Our products are vegan and have a positive ecological footprint. During its growth, sugar cane converts more CO2 than the CO2 emissions released during production and transport. Our products can be 100% recycled.
Ajaa! also uses as little packaging material as possible and only uses sustainable, certified and largely recycled paper or cardboard.


Ajaa products can be disposed of with household waste. Alternatively, the products can be returned to Ajaa and we return them to the production cycle.


Ajaa products are designed for a long lifespan, so the material is fairly thick.
The tableware is in principle biodegradable, unfortunately it would take too long, even in industrial composting plants.
