The EcoEgg laundry egg is a complete alternative to detergent or washing powder. You simply put it in the washing machine and you don't need any other detergent. The two types of mineral pellets contained in the egg go to work and produce powerful (but natural) cleansing foam that thoroughly cleans your clothes. These are refillable.

EcoEgg has been dermatologically tested and found to be extremely suitable for (very) sensitive skin. EcoEgg's laundry eggs have been rated as 'excellent' for sensitive skin by Dermatest. In addition, they are a money-saving, environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic alternative to regular laundry detergent. The EcoEggs can be used safely for all washing machines.

The washing egg for 'whites and lights' has been specially developed for white laundry, the unique pellets have a clarifying effect and are enriched with a stain remover to make your white and light laundry shine. Does not contain chlorine bleach. The pellets in the washing ball last 50 washes. After these 50 uses you can easily refill the washing ball with the refill.

  • Use at a maximum of 60 degrees.
  • For example, first treat stubborn stains with stain soap.
  • EcoEgg changes the pH of the water, making the laundry feel so naturally soft. So no fabric softener is needed. If you still want to use fabric softener, that's no problem.
  • Do not overfill your washing machine, the egg needs room to move in the drum.
  • Do not use a water saving program, because the egg needs water to function properly.
  • It is recommended before the first use of the egg to turn a completely empty 95 degree wash with descaler or citric acid to remove residue and limescale. You may not like the smell of your laundry at first. This is not due to the egg, but due to residues of washing powder that are still in the pipes of the machine.

Ingredients:
Calcium carbonate, Oxirane, 2-(chioromethyl)-homopolymer, Saponin, Sodium C14-16 Olefin sulfonate, Sodium carbonate, Dodecan-1-ol, ethoxylated, Aluminum hydroxide, perfume.

Tested by laboratory:
The EcoEgg and its properties were tested by SATRA Technology in a leading British laboratory. The laboratory specializes in the study of clothing, textiles and detergents. The following results were found with the SATRA tests:

EcoEgg removes stains. On average, the EcoEgg removes stains with 90% of the effectiveness of traditional washing powder.
EcoEgg gets about 50 wash loads. It was noted that the length of the individual wash, the water temperature and the hardness of the water affect the life of the pellets.
EcoEgg is an environmentally friendly way to wash. It leaves on average 73% less residue in the water than a regular detergent.
EcoEgg is suitable for babies and people with sensitive skin and allergies. The product has been independently tested by Allergy UK and approved for allergy sufferers.
