      GOTS is a quality mark where the abbreviation stands for 'Global Organic Textile Standard'. Whether products comply with this is checked by an accredited organization. Requirements are imposed on production, processing, packaging and working conditions during the production phase. Products that receive this quality mark do not use synthetic crop protection products, genetically modified organisms or artificial fertilizers during cultivation.

      At least 70% of the product must consist of organically produced materials before it can be called "Made with organic", and 95% for the product to be called "Organic".
