Ecobooster for a tap. The operation is simple: in the basic position when opening the tap, the Ecobooster tap is set to economy mode. At the tap this means 7 litres. By simply pressing a button it switches from economy mode to a full jet. Then you can quickly fill a bucket and temporarily have a fuller jet when showering. Even as soon as you close the tap, the booster automatically switches back to energy saving mode. A perfect combination of water savings and extra convenience.

  • Maximum protection against limescale thanks to the soft elastomer surface. Simply rub the limescale off the elastomer surface (SLC® = Smart Lime Cleaning).
  • Automatic cleaning function (AC = auto-clean): Thanks to the integrated sieve, small dirt particles in the water are easily rinsed away.
  • Cleaning of the aerator is possible without dismantling.

The big advantage but also the disadvantage of our water is the price. The price of our tap water is relatively low. Also consider the energy used by the pumps that ensure there is pressure on the water pipes. Pumping groundwater causes desiccation of nature within the water extraction areas.

Cleaning our water is becoming increasingly complicated due to fertilization and substances from the chemical industry (cleaning products and medicines). If the quality of our drinking water continues to decline due to contamination, water companies will be forced to add chlorine to our tap water. Something I really don't think we should want. It is expected that clean drinking water will become scarcer and more expensive in the future. Every reason to use our water consciously and sustainably.
